ACTIVITIES
Show and Tell - Here is your chance to "show" your own quilt at the Guild Meeting and "tell" a little bit about your creation. It is inspiring to see the variety of styles, colors and techniques used by fellow quilters.
Philanthropy Projects - We are proud of our efforts to help others in our community. At the Guild Meeting you can check out all the projects we support and be a part of the effort to contribute something special to someone in need.
Kumfort Quilts - Take home a kit to make a small quilt for a child in need. Each kit contains fabric for a quilt top, backing batting and a label for the back of the quilt.
Pillowcases and Beads of Courage Bags - We make pillowcases and Beads of Courage Bags for children undergoing treatment for cancer. The Beads of Courage Bags are used to store the beads they receive for their courage in undergoing treatment. Kits and patterns are available at the Guild Meeting.
Quilts for Wounded Veterans -Choose a red, white and blue quilt to bind or take a kit home to make a block. This project is part of a nationwide effort to thank our wounded veterans for their service. Completed quilts are taken to the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach.
