Friendship Square Quilt Guild

Friendship Square Quilt Guild proudly presents "Floral Fantasy" as our Opportunity Quilt for the quilt show of 2010.  Approximately 60 members of the guild spent countless hours doing hand applique and hand quilting on this quilt.  The patterns are traditional Blatimore album patterns that have been modified over the years.  The border applique was designed for this quilt from motifs in the squares  by Barbara Swanburg.
